hi, basicly it has come down to one of these 2 for me to buy.

i havent seen the Sharp one in action yet, will have to go out and see for myself.
Which one is better ?

hi, i talked to an expert over at http://www.kencrane.com/
he told me the Sony XBR3 hands down, because of the better picture quality. So i may end up going for the Sony = )

Sony has backlight issues while the Sharp has banding issues.
I think the 46inch Samsungs 4695D (I think) has better PQ over the two. Just my 2 pixels worth.
