Hi, I'm trying to demux an MKV file with MKVExtractGui and I've been following this guide, except that when I open the MKVExtractGui application, there's no browse button and I cannot enter anything into the input and output lines.

I've been trying to find another programme to demux MKV files but so far everything keeps pointing back to this programme! Help please?

remember that MKVextractGUI is only part of a larger tool. the GUI(graphic user interface) needs MKVmerge to work...you can find these programs in the MKVtoolnix package from Matroska.

If this doesn't work...VirtualDubMod will do it...but I prefer the MKVextract myself...expecially if it contains DTS or SRT files.

    Try the latest version: http://corecodec.org/projects/mkvextractgui/

    Also it allows for drag/drop.

Worst case you can use mkvextract without a GUI.

Otherway around. If VDubMod won't do it, mkvextract will. Plenty of stuff that VDubMod doesn't support. AVI-Mux GUI is another option.
