e6650 2.6 p5kc motherboard OCed need tips

    I took the fsb to 400 and got a clock of 3.2 wich is cool for me
    my cpu temp went from 27 at idle to 35, mb stayed the same @ 38
    vcore went from 1.32 to 1.39 and I left every thing else auto
    if this is good or normal let me know thanks. also what the *bleep* is spread spetrum I have it for cpu and pcie it is enabled right now I donno if thats good or not. any general tip or anything else will be great by the way this thing hauls assss

    I've never had to adjust it, so I doubt it makes that much of a difference. To be safe, leave it on. That's a reasonably respectable overclock. Are you using the stock cooler that came with the processor? The 6650 can achieve more than 3.2.... :p

    That'd be why, if you up to something like a Freezer 7 Pro or Zalman CNPS7700 you could get a higher OC, but 3.2 is very good for the stock cooler.

    I used sandra and it said 1.39 is to high for my vcore but it passes the stress test please advise

    I found the vcore settings in my bios my max is 1.35 should I change it to 1.35 or somthing a little lower

    1.39V is fine. I run mine at 1.42V.
