Ok, I have an ABIT kx7-333 mobo with an Athlon XP 2100. The mobo has no standard VGA (just 2 male vga ports). I installed a nvidia geforce fx5200. When i boot the computer, the monitor just stays black, and when i disconnect the monitor, it just says "no input". Now i have tried this computer on a working monitor and I get the same thing. I have installed the card in a different computer and it works fine. Any ideas as to why i wouldn't get any video signal? Also the card is a PCI. I do have an internal speaker, and beeps or blips come up to alert me of any problems.

those 2 male vga ports are serial ports not video. disconnect all cables to drives. clear the cmos according to motherboard manual as have found that to sometimes kickstart a stubborn system. remove all cards & ram except for videocard & 1 stick of ram. reseat thos 2. try another psu. are any of the silver topped can shaped objects on the motherboard which are capacitors, domed or leaking brown stuff of the top?

I'll give your suggestion a try and post back later. There is no evidence of any leakage or physical damage on the board also. I hope the above proccess works! (fingers crossed)
