    Hi, I have Nero Express version 5.5.9.9 bundled, and I noticed an option called No Pauses between tracks and the describtion is Used to remove 2 second pauses between songs, to free up more space on the CD. Only supported in DAO mode. What is DAO mode?

    Which is better, to have 2 seconds pauses between songs, or to have none, and why?

    Will it affect the sound quality of the music?

    Will it cause skipping on the cd player if I choose DAO mode?

    Please list if there is anything wrong with DAO mode or if it will convert the mp3 files into a less better quality, for example- some versions of windows media player might convert mp3 files that are 192 kbps (average sound quality) into 128 kbps.

    Thanks

    Thanks

    DAO = Disc At Once

    I personally wouldn't removed the 2 second pause between songs, but that is just the way I like it. Shouldn't affect quality at all.
