I am not sure if this is in the right spot if it isn't my apologies... i just installed a brand new 9800 GX2 on my brand new alien ware computer.. Games work fine especially Crysis and Gear of War... but every single time i watch a mpeg or a avi my computer gets distored and eventually locks up and i need to shut off the computer and restart it. i did install the new drivers from nvidia and i removed the other ones from the previous video card... but my system keeps locking up on video play back. if anybody knows how to fix this please let me know. and my apologies again if i posted this in the wrong section...
Do you have a 780i chipset board? Those boards are known to have this problem. Look at my sig for more info about 780i.
