    Hi
I have just got a new palit 9800GTX+ and have got it up and running.
I've connected the two 6 pin power inputs but have a small two wire cable included in the box. I can see where it plugs in at the top of the card but dont know where it goes on the motherboard or what it's for? One wire is black, the other white. One is labeled "GRND" the other has nothing. The box contains a quick install guide but nothing on the actual hardware installation. They look like front panel type connectors. Anyone know where they go and what they are for?

I'll be honest, I have one somewhere and don't know what that does either, and google doesn't seem too helpful on the matter, but what I do know is that I have never used one and it's not done me any harm.

I have found out what it is. It's an S/PDIF connector. It plugs into your soundcard so you can send audio out the DVI port to an HDMI tv via the DVI to HDMI adapter included.
