Hi, i've been using mkvtoolnix to remove unwanted subtitles from some mkv video files, is this the best program for this and am i losing any quality.

I want to remove the subs with out re-encoding and losing quality, does mkv re-encode when muxing, also when playing the files in mpc or wmp it doesn't give me the option to turn the subs off even thought there not hard encoded, any recommended programs that are better or advice would be appreciated, thanks

    1) The mkv tools do not re-encode.
    2) Try VLC for better subtitle control.
