Hi, I am using the 680I SLI NVida and am very happy until the last month or so.

I have a harddrive issue with this unit. I have 2 drives totaling 800 gig, one is a seagate sata 500gig one is a 10000 RPM raptor. I am wanting to add a new WDC 500gig sata drive. This bew drive I have checked in another pc with only one drive and works fine. But when I install it in the this system it just hangs. Its seen in the bios and and all seems ok it just won't function. Any help and all drivers are up to date and everything works great till that drive and after I remove that drive. I tested it in is the same board but had only one 500 geg drive. And yes if I remove the raptor it does work. Any Idea? Vista Ultimate Pack 1.

I have read something about raptors with none raptor WDC dives having pin issue but can't get clear answer.

There is actually a compatibility issue with the 680i and the Raptor (but only the 150GB version).
