When I mute the volume there seems to be some interference noise being picked up coming through the tv. This is the same set up used for my old starview so I know thw leads connections are ok etc. Is this normal with the internet now involved or have I a faulty box?
    Thanks in advance.

you need to hire the box up full and use your tv remote to higher and lower your volume

Done as you said and unless the tv goes extremely loud the noise isnt noticeable. It still is there though very very quiet. It seems to be from the signal although the old starview didnt produce this noise. Is it because the net is needed now?
Anyway thanks for your help I'm maybe being greedy wanting perfectly clean audio to go with what is a fantastic box picture and features wise. I work in audio so its probably more noticeable to me than the average layman. Be interested to know where its coming from.
    Again thanks for your help.

you could always try a gold scart and that should kill the noise
