Sony: Watch Dogs runs in 1080p at 60fps on PS4 According to information posted on the official PlayStation website, the hotly-anticipated Watch Dogs will run in 1080p at 60fps, only on the PlayStation 4.
The page for Watch Dogs on the PlayStation website promises the "True Watch_Dogs Experience", with the best graphics on any console and exclusive missions found only on PlayStation.

"Hack everything as you make your way through Chicago's underground as you experience Watch_Dogs in a way that only the PS4 can provide, at 60 Frames Per Second in 1080p."

The page also explained that the four exclusive missions are "timed exclusions" that will be available on PC later.

Watch_Dogs launches on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on May 27.

Actually it looks like it was most likely removed because of contractual obligations as it makes Ubi look bad in front of MS because of that BS parity clause. Here's some info on how Ubi themselves specifically said 1080p/60fps for PS4 ~ Source. Personally I think it will be 1080p/unlocked 60fps.

It likely will be: but without verifying it being 60fps constant, or if it just randomly spiked to 60fps, it was still a bold claim to make. Until we can test it, we won't know that answer.

It's going to be 900p 30 frames/sec on PS4 and 792p 30 frames/sec on Xbox One. What everyone should care about is the gameplay and it better be good.

The big question is why not 1080p at 60FPS? Time? or laziness? This seems to be a common theme on these so-called Next Gen systems.

Yep (Source). Looks like someone dropped the ball over at either Ubi or Sony for the 1080 info.

Definitely time for both, with the addendum that hardware in the XB1 being the additional factor making it more difficult. Not that it isn't capable of doing 1080/60 but that it is that much harder to hit the target.

The only other possibility is a patch a la AC4 on PS4 for 1080.
