Large public torrent tracker Demonii to shut down

Large public torrent tracker Demonii to shut down Following the major takedown of scene release group YIFY, it seems that the large public torrent tracker Demonii will shut down, as well.
The YIFY group, an icon in the movie piracy world, also ran the YTS website and apparently operated Demonii also.

Demonii says it had 44,682,991 peers and over 4.8 million torrents, making it one of the largest public torrent trackers available.

For the time being, the tracker remains up, but expect it to be down within the week.
