Make sure that you have the Live cable feed plugged into the Cable Input socket, and do a Factory reset in between any scans, also might sound silly but does your subbed box get the signal.

Right, with you now, so if you have the basic package then you should have one of there Subbed Boxes, is it working - is it getting a signal?

Okay, then what you need to do is to remove the V***in subbed box and put your SV Super in it's place and set it up there - what has probably occurred is that they have put you a line in Downstairs and unfortunately that line used to go up to your bedroom, that's what it looks like to me, (Diconnected) - so you need to try it downstairs to find out.

so what happens if it works downstairs, is there a way to connect it back upstairs?

Tried it downstairs and it works, they used the same inlet i used when i took my box downstairs to watch footie on the big screen, so i don't understand what has happened

Sorry I have taken so long Paul, busy at the minute, well you have now identified the problem and there is nothing wrong with your box, yes they have re-routed your feed to downstairs. Now it is up to you what you do, I presume you have a little box on the wall outside? it may be a simple case of them having disconnected the upstairs line from a splitter in there, and knowing the VM Engineers LOL they could have just left the splitter there - if so it will be a simple matter of screwing the upstairs line back in, otherwise you could put a splitter back there,(not my place to advise you on that mate) - but you need to split the signal to get it live again upstairs one way or the other.
