Howdy, I got a EUROVOX box off one of my mates, they'd stopped using it as it stopped working for them but they didnt really try to get it working, i hooked it up in place of my Chorus UPC box in Naas but it says the same thing as it did in my mates. NO SIGNAL comes up on both the manual and auto search. what can i do to fix this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated as im pretty new to this.
Who is your provider, chorus? Try scanning on 6875 and see if you get anything. You should get the free to air channels. You might be chorus mmds, in which case you need a box t.
i have CH*rus digital tv subscription which gives all the free to air anyway and i have the digital phone nd broadband with them too so that makes it a digital connection doesn't it. i think in trying to get it to work i may have clicked 'fatory settings'. does this reset the box in any way?
Yes it does, but you need to Factory Default the box and do a powerscan on 6.875 have a look at the guide in the link marked Eurovox at the bottom of my post and read down to scanning okay.
Then it is definately the wrong box for you!!!, I stand to be corrected, but the way I understand it is that the EV Box TX is for Ch***s MMDS.

Thanks malci doesnt look good a friend of mine who buys of a UK supplier told me that his supplier had also been nicked and he cant get any boxes off him. Regards Gazza
