I like "1 Click" and, for the most part, find it works well. However, there are times when the source has been read and is now ready to burn, that I lose the "Write to CD" box and can't go on. What i"ve had to do is re-do the source again and then hope I can follow through. Is there anyway the "Write to..." box can be brought back up and the source found for burning?

im not really sure because ive never had this problem. if i were u i would check c drive to see if u can find the file. make sure u dont close 1 click or the file will be deleted. if u find the file, open ur dvd burning software and select the video-ts folder (in caps) in the file u found. select burn dvd from video files. if it burns then it is probably dvd compliant. most software now days will give u a warning if it is not.
