Try without sim first and if the phone does nothing, insert a non accepted sim and the phone will show "phone restricted", press "undo" and enter the code in the box provided on the phone and then press enter when code is entered. #pw+425397640355407+5#
i tryed that code and then the phone screen said "PHONE RESTRICTED" and the only way it lets me enter codes into the phone is to have a simcard that isnt tmobile so i have a old cingular card in it. BUT I CAN TURN OFF THE PHONE AND BACK ON TO KEEP TRYING CODES SO IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE THAT MIGHT WORK PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANK YOU FOR REPLYING SOOO FAST.
That was the whole idea here. Insert the sim that doesn't work and the phone should say "phone restricted", you'll have an "undo" option, press that and then you will have a box that says enter restriction code. Enter the code I gave you and then press enter or OK.
YEAH THATS WHAT I DONE BUT AFTER ENTERING THE CODE IT WENT BACK TO THE PHONE RESTRICTED SCREEN. I HAVE ALSO TRYED CODES OFF OF THE WEBSITE HTTP://UNLOCK.NOKIAFREE.ORG/ BUT NONE OF THE CODES FOR THE DOWNLOADABLE PROGRAM WORK FOR THIS PHONE NO MATTER HOW I CHANGE IT. The only thing I can suggest is having the phone unlocked with a DCT 4 clip at a local privately owned electronics shop. Cable and software will not unlock a DCT 4 type phone.
