I don't know an exact technical answer but some people have had the same problems as you. If they use it on a Sony memory stick it runs fine, but as soon as they try to boot Devhook off of a Sandisk memory stick it fails to run.

That really is weird becuz I only use sandisk and have booted devhook off a 1GB and 2GB stick.

Hex, were your Devhook folders set up like this, Devhook __SCE__Devhook and %__SCE__Devhook or Devhook and Devhook%? If they were, then that's more or less likely how come it worked for you. That or yours randomly worked on your Sandisk. Who knows.

Yeah but thats for the newer version of devhook. I think they implemented that format in .44, maybe it was .43. But ya thats the folders my eboots are in. And previous versions that didn't use that format for the folders also loaded properly.

Eh, who knows then. It might just be that it's incredibly random on which Sandisk memory sticks it works. Who cares though, as long as you can get it to work in the end.

Maybe it is a incompatibility issue,i read some threads that talk about that.you should try formating the ms and installing a new fresh copy of devhook.

Hey, I'm having a similar problem. I have a 1 gig sandisk and a 2 gig sony . I can't seem to get the 2 gig to work with devhook. keeps giving me the same error you get. Did you ever figure anything out?

this happens to me sometimes when i tinker with the devhook setup or got a new game. formating ms / inputing proper settings for devhook solves my problems. official sony ms 1gb
