1 quick ram question

    my mobo suport dual chanel.. and i have 3 sticks of 512mb ram.. if i put three stick then i will have total 1.5gb of ram but if i use 2 sticks of 512 ram then i would have 1 gb of ram and its running on the dual chanel.. which way is beter and faster?

    I think that running the both 512's in dual channel will be recognized even if you add that extra stick in there.
