Using DVDFab HD Decrypter 5.0.3.0. I ripped the movie successfully to the HD, but am getting this error when trying to burn the movie to a DVD5. Any suggestions? This has never happened before now.
@ iluvendo Thanks. @ AUDIOMIND This may not be relevant to your problem at all, but I received this same error once before and it had to do with my firewall. I started the process with CloneDVD and then left my computer to take care of itself. While I was gone my firewall (Comodo) blocked Clone from accessing the files on the HDD during the process. May or may not be the problem.
After a had the movie on my HDD I used Fixvts, shrink and IMG. Mainly because I got caught after the price boo$t for the softwares that you are using. 7thsinger - You did sweep but that was on the northside. This time around you guys will be playing on the southside. One can only assume that the stands will be filled with Cub Fans (as always). Godd luck, we'll be in World Series hope to see you there!
Anybody else having problems reading the 10000BC dvd using dvdfab hd decrypter version 5? It just stalls at the opening source dialog with the green bar running across looking for the media. I know the disc and drive are fine because Shrink and RipIt4Me open it but unfortunately generate errors. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
i disabled the pathplayer option but it still gets hung on the "Open DVD source" box. anything else to try..cheers!
@cull0001 You got 1 program that won't open disc and two others that are throwing errors. Did it ever occur to you, that it's not the programs but the DISC. Sounds like a bad press or dirty or scratched disc to me; or worse the reading drive could be failing. Odds are that 3 programs don't work-then it's not the programs. Get a new disc
ya it turns out that it is the drive not the media. As soon as i put the DVD into my DVD burner drive it worked fine, but its strange that other media are read by my standard DVD drive. Anyways, thanks to all for your help.
A little help here. Not sure why I'm getting this "Reading/Writing Error Control" on DVDFAB 5.0.3. I've tried everything on this thread. Anyone??? The DVD is new so it is not the disc. Sometimes I get the message at 20% other times I get it around 80%. I ran it on WinXP & Vista. Any ideas???
That is not true. You may have a bad press. This is not uncommon. Try giving both the disc and the laser lens a good cleaning.
@Dialysis you beat me to it! He's right RAMEB It may be new but defective and it's been out for 5 days, so it could have big dirty fingerprints on the disc.
Both resident pros are right on here Rameb. Bad presses are more commonplace these days. I've had several this year already. All but one of them (We Own the Night if you're curious) would play fine but would not rip. It very well could be the disc.
