i have been scammed in the past by shop4tech.com, so i PERSONALLY will never buy from them again, despite their pricing...they sent me FAKE TYs when i first started out...they might have improved upon their shady reputation since then, but i will still not buy from them... supermediastore.com and meritline.com and rima.com have frequent sales on these 4x TYG01s...i would trust any of those 3 online retailers before dropping any money w/ shop4tech. that is just my personal experience, once a fake TY, always possibility lingering that i will get fakes again~
I know their reputation isn't great here on AD, but I have bought two of the 100 pack of Value dvd's from them and they were not fake. I have since started burning only +R TY's and so I don't need to buy these anymore. I believe they did sell some fakes. If the Doc says they sold some to him, I for sure believe it. I also believe they have changed their ways because of the bad rep they received on here as well as other sites. If I had been sent fakes, no way would I ever buy from them again either, which I probably want from now on. I think I might have stretched my luck as far as I need to. What can I say. I actually saw this deal yesterday, and thought about posting it as it is definitely a very sweet deal but i see i was beat to the punch. As per the deals forum the price is actually $27.90 for a 100 pack - it came to $27.90 w/ free shipping. I had to use the coupon code 'SUMMER10' at checkout to take that extra 10% off. as to the other person who said they got "shafted" by shop4tech - I can't speak for them but know i've never had any issues with them and i've bought quite a few things from them over the last 2 years. From what i Understand reading some of the other media forums it seems like all the online companies get that fake coded media, so they all sell it. I personally always bought the real stuff anyway but some companies are now aparently selling the 'fake' stuff as 'real'as mentioned over at videohelp. These Taiyos specifically list as authentic and i've bought them before..they're probably the best dvd-r there is. Well worth the price to say the least. Thanks for mentioning the deal.
i'm glad their reputation is looking better now...yeah, being "shafted" by shop4tech was not a good experience for me, they were horrible about the return policy and wouldn't issue me an RMA until the 3rd time i called them to complain. but, it's PERSONAL EXPERIENCE...results will vary from person to person it IS a good price for these TYs...so, for those that want to try...be my guest...may your order go smoothly and you get AUTHENTIC TYS...the experience i had with that company as a whole, i would not wish upon even my enemies...all i can say is good luck~
there only 32.91 from meritline.com and last time i ordered i got TYGO-2 for the same price and there NEVER fakes from meritline ,supermedia store or rima .so a big NO NO for me to with shop4tech
