I asked Rima if they'd pricematch supermediastore's price on 100 dvd-r hub-printable TYs (http://www.supermediastore.com/taiyo-yuden-white-inkjet-printable-8x-dvd-r-media-100.html) which was posted earlier and elsewhere. They just adjusted their price to 39.99 as well, but since their shipping is cheaper (YMMV depending on where you are) in the end it comes out to be a little over 2 bucks less expensive than at supermediastore. Here's the link, and you can't go wrong dealing with Rima IMO: http://www.rima.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=R&Product_Code=1760-100

This is just their regular price now, so I don't think it's "done" at any particular time. Not that they won't raise their price again, of course.

Rima is way and always been better than supermediastore. I dont know why people rate supermediastore too much...its way too overrated, rima is the same thing, except cheaper shipping...But new3gg pw3ns them all...newegg is the el33t...

Don't know what the hell pw3ns and el33t mean, but Rima is a good place to order from.

All things being equal, I'd say Rima is the place to shop. I also live in CA and if I order on Monday I'll have them by Thursday. I suppose I could bitch about having to pay sales tax, but whatever. Plus you can count on prompt replies to emails and they won't sell you fakes. Pretty much what we're looking for, isn't it?

i'm with you mrchub, i too live in CA and i do have to pay that annoyingly high sales tax too~ but, with all things considered, yes, we WOULD get things a day or 2 earlier than our friends in the midwest/east coast~ :)

i've ordered from rima.com too in the past, wasn't a HUGE order or anything to brag about, but, they were prompt, friendly, and delivered exactly what i ordered with no complaints from me.

i think the reason many people on here recommend supermediastore so highly is in PART, based on their OWN buying experience from them as well as just repeating what others have said ALL ALONG... :)

i have bought enough media from supermediastore to put a FEW of their kids thru college, but, i just continue to USE a company that has WORKED WELL for me in the past, with no complaints~ :) others that have relied on rima.com and have ordered just as much as i have from supermediastore will naturally favor one over the other...who can blame them? they are both reputable stores to purchase from online and i have not had a problem with either...meritline.com on the other hand, i HAVE had an issue with them in the past, but it was resolved, despite taking 3 weeks to remedy the situation...LOL...live and learn...

    good luck

    docTY~

in Los Angeles buddy! :) city of industry is actually like about a 30 min. drive for me, IF they offered it, i could literally DRIVE to supermediastore, meritline, rima, etc. ~ if they had a "pickup" option, i would totally be ALL OVER IT~! :)

but, yeah...in LA, just outside of Bev. Hills~

yes, the shipping from BOTH supermediastore AND rima for me, is practically OVERNIGHT as you had mentioned~ :)

    docTY~
