Im sure HD_Nut would say that 1080p24 would look best on a 768p TV

I think he would say that displaying a 1080p24 video to a 768p TV is better than displaying a 1080p24 video on a 1080p60 TV BECAUSE; the pixels in an average sized 1080p60 TV, while sitting at an average distance, are to small to see therefore "wasted". Displaying the 1080p24 video to 768p60, while losing some quality in the cross conversion, is still better than "wasting" pixels.
