1080p mkv burned to DVD DL is pixelated and stretched??

    I have used tsMuxeR to convert my mkv file into blu ray disc format and i have then burned it to a DL DVD using imgburn UDF 2.50 etc as in the guide but when i play it on my sony blu ray player i have 2 problems:

    1. The picture is pixelated, however apart from that it is great quality

    2. It appears to be stretched to fit the screen instead of having black lines at top and bottom like it should do

    Any help would be much appreciated, cheers

    I am having the same problem... I have a Sony BDPS360.

    I ripped Star Trek using anydvd hd and it would play-then-pause-play pause... However, PowerDVD 9 would not play in at all...

    using Tsremuxer, HDBDSplitGUI & image burn to write to DVD+R DL.
