120 Hz effect

    I notice that pixar movies and all those CG movies look like video games on a 120 hz TVs would it be possible to create 120 hz technology through outside source like a video game console?

    the reason it looks like games is because your hardware is filling in the images - all hollywood movies are filmed in 24hz, thus your hardware has to fill the rest - just like a cartoon. I personally find it annoying...

    I know that but if you tv doesn't have the technology... can 120hz be done with an outside source like a ps3?
