120GB HDD Questions

    I currently have three 20GB HDD I got from friends (their 360 RRoD'ed on them, and they gave up and gave me the drives) and I noticed that Xbox1 game cache a lot slower the to 360 HDD then the original Xbox HDD. Would it be quicker on the 120GB HDD?

    Also, what is the extra adapter thingie that cames with the Xbox360 HDD? Is it a USB adapter?

    I'm only asking since I'm considering to buy one from a friend. Please respond asap.

    If by cache you mean loading and saving then its about the same.

    It's got the hdd plug on 1 end and a usb on the other. But the software to transfer the info from the 20 to the 120 comes on a cd. Without the software, you can't transfer.
