hi all, ok one of my buddies has a cdr that someone else had burned for him and it was a standard80 minute cdr, but it had 130 songs on it, now i have done all the research i could possiblly do on this i can not figure out how the hell he managed doing this, does anyone know how he did this. If so can you please help me out. Thanx
700MB cd .... 5MB per song = 140 songs Did he say how long the songs were (if it was AudioCD) or did he burn a DataCD?
The average "song" in the MP3 format will have 4Mb -@128Kbps- most newer listening devices have now. the ability to read MP3's -- Hence it is quite possible to burn 150 MP3's on one data CD-R so it can be read on your Car Radio or DVD player. The very latest car radio will read now WMA -- again giving you more stashing capacity.
You need to create Mp3 files off your CD files and then burn into a data CD. Then if you have a CD player that supports Mp3 (or if you buy one, they are not really expensive), you can have 150 songs into a CD. Here are two guides about creating Mp3s: using Freeware tool: http://www.mp3-guides.com/guides.php?name=audiograbber using a commercial tool: http://www.mp3-guides.com/guides.php?name=musicmatch I hope you know how to write a data CD!
