    Hello, all,

I capture video from a Canon GL2 in 16:9 format. I used WinAVI Capture to capture it to DVD (I set it to 16:9). Then, I burned the files to DVD. It is shrunk to fit to the screen. I then went to IFOEdit and set everything to 16:9. I burned them again, same thing. I play in a Sony player and XBox. Both render the same results, but, the computer can play it correctly.

    Thanks!

Have you checked if your Sony Player and XBox are set to the proper display of your TV set?

When you say, "It shrunk..." do you mean it plays full screen, and the sides are cut off, or it's full screen and everyone is stretched vertically, or what?
When you play it on the computer, what program are you using? WMP cannot display the 16:9 mpeg flag correctly (never has), so what you see on the computer has (almost) nothing to do with what you'll see on the burned disk on a standalone.
Do you have a widescreen 16:9 TV to view it on?

I figured it out in 2 minutes when I got up this morning, but didn't have time to post.

Our TV is 4:3, so, it is shrunk horizontally. It looks as if I am a bean pole...lol

I had the settings wrong, all is good now!
