when i ftp its average rate is bout 1600kb/sec. is this slow? if so how do u speed it up? it took me 30 min for a roughly 3gig game. thanks andy
yea, that's pretty slow. mine hang around 8000 kb/sec. the problem could be a number of things. do you have a slow computer or a lot of processes going on other than your FTP program, or both? if you use avalaunch, try a little program called File Booster. it's in xbins i think.
nah its a new laptop. so it aint the computer. are there settings which may be effecting the spee? i hav an evox dash.
do the network settings in the evox dash say something like 10mbs/half duplex or maybe 100mbs/full duplex. it should be the full duplex. try that.
