16x dvd burner...How do i make it burn faster it is taking up to an hour right now...

    taking forever to burn dvds HELP please!!!!!

    Check you DMA and make sure it's not in the slooow PIO mode - guide

    Check in Device Manager, under the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers (usually the secondary) and see if it is in Ultra DMA Mode 2. If it is in PIO mode, back out, right click on the Secondary controller, and select delete.

    Reboot your computer, and check again. It should have corrected the problem.

    thanks alot buttttt 1 problem i'm running Vista soooo i cant find this stuff?
