i have a nec burner 16x. i use 16x discs. i burn 20 to 30 discs a night. some of them skip, freeze up and i noticed on the back some of them on the back there is about a quarterinch of the disc that is not burnt in the middle of the disc. whats up? not enough ram or am i burning to many in one night. please help.
then why do they make a 16x burner and disc. i bought it to burn 16x. i need to burn at 16x. more product=more $. i use good disc.
hey, i'm burning at 8x it works iknow the slower you burn the better. then why do they make a 16x disc? it takes me 12 min. to burn 8x and 5 min. to burn 16x. i'd rather burn 16x. is there anything i could do?
not really. use good quality media, a good burner, and make sure your computer is only doing the burning, not multitasking. burning at 16x would most likely be just fine for data. video is much more demanding, thus the need to burn slower. but as it's quite obvious why you're doing what you're doing and we don't condone it around here, don't expect much more help. and please, save yourself the argument of "you all do it!"--that's irrelevent, as we're not the makers of the thread.
thanks for the reply. but you assume i never said what i was doing. but thank you anyways you answered it more clearly for me. thanks!
insinuation is enough to jail one for conspiracy to kill the president, and it get you in lots of other trouble, lol. you have to be very careful what you say, even when innocent until proven guilty. good luck.
