    I'm new here.

I hope I'm in the right forum section.

I decided to stop lurking and post my question.
I'm using the Logitech MX518 mouse and don't get me wrong, I love it. But... It's time for a new mouse. I've had the 518 for years and it's starting to fade and tear in some spots.

I just came across this on the internet a few days ago and I would like some reviews on it from true gamers because I am, thus far, planning on getting one.

It's called the Naga. The video below is the best example of it that I've found so far.

It's a 17 button mouse. Mainly for avid MMORPG players, but could be used for photoshop and other games.
It looks incredible! Glows blue. Tangle free mesh cord which is suppose to be LOOOONG.

The video does a great job showing you everything about it in a short amount of time. Check it out if you want. I have a feeling this Razr gamer gear might change how we play PC games in the future.

I'm getting ahead of myself though, I really want some opinions. Good or bad.

Sorry if I'm intruding with such an extensive post for a newcomer.
    Thanks for your time!

Looks Sweet, but I would have a couple concerns...

1.) Would I ever use all those buttons? Probably not; I can hardly find use for the buttons on my G5v2. On top of that, 3 of the side buttons look hard to get at, and 3 look impossible; even their own reviewer admitted he does not use those three.

2.) It is smooth plastic...some might like the feeling of a sweaty palm, but I do not.

3.) He said the cable is a "String" I am not sure what he meant, but if it is the same braided stuff that logitech uses, I am not a big fan.

4.) There are no mouse feet. Instead of using small teflon mouse feet, they just used a raised plastic edge...not sure how well this works, probably better than the stock feet on my G5, and probably worse than the aftermarket feet I already have.

5.) Quote from the video, "How Cool is the Glow?" - It looks cool, but very distracting. I disconnected the power LED from my mainboard because it was too distracting, so the first thing I would do with this mouse is to disable the LEDs.

6.) I have all my fingers...and my G5 has more functions on the wheel anyway (it has a side-to-side tilt that is perfect for strafing)...that was a terrible example for them to give; if anyone would be better off with a G5, it is their own reviewer...

I think I'll stick with my G5v2, but I might at least consider this mouse if my G5v2 breaks before they stop production of the Naga...then again, they might have the Naga v2 soon from the looks of it; it would not be hard to move those side buttons forward so that they can all be used...add a tilt wheel, a G5v2-style surface, and a toggle switch for the LEDs and I'll be a lot more interested.
