I have a 17 inch kds lcd flat screen monitor not working here is the problem I Have No Display Even When Booting Up Computer display is black the indication light on the monitor is green it stays green even if i unplug the monitor from the computer the green light flashed every 5 sec really fast and about 20 sec after the monitor has been un pluged from the pc it shuts off on it's own if i power down the monitor for awhile and go to click thew power button on it it will not turn on it takes about a good 20 min before i see the green light come on what can be wrong with it i know it's not a back light problem b/c i already put light up to it to see if i could see something it's not my video card or computer b/c i don't even get the "No Signal" message when the monitor is un pluged from the pc and i have also had it pluged into another computer and still no luck How ever about 2 weeks ago I was having a problem with the monitor and that was if i let it sit it would go black and usually when it goes black u gust hit a key or move the mouse and display would come back well when i did try to do that it would not work it would stay black but about 20 min after hitting a key or movine the mouse the monitor would come so i decided to keep my monitor on 24/7 on i also had a problem with the cabel awhile ago to and that was the cord that went into the monitor was lose inside and caused everything on my display to go blue but that problem was fixed could these problems i had awhile ago be the problem now with my monitor. JUST GIVE ME ADVICE TO FIX THIS ERROR Iam counting on u thxs people i have lots of important stuff on that pc i need a.s.a.p and i can't access them without a monitor p.s can having a hight resloustion like (1208x1027) be bad on a littel monitor? oh and one last ? can messing around with the screen refresh rate be the cause of my monitor to stop working?
do you have the right cable conected to the back of your tower? do you have the right cable? are you sure that your video card will work with the new display? have you read the instructions on how to hook up the display to your system?
