hi guys, i have just upgraded to 1 clickdvd pro i am using dvd43. i have tried backing up 3 or 4 different titles, the problem is, when the file is being burned everything goes to plan until 75% of finalyzing is done then everything locks up, and then the only thing to do is Ctrl/Alt & Delete and the backed up disc wont work or has problems
both 1click and dvd43 are up to date
    any help would be appreciated
    cheers Neil

    Hi porge2390
You might have a conflict between 1ClickDVD Pro & DVD43 or DVD43 can't handle the movies you are doing.
DVD43 can conflict with other programs - not too sure on pro version of 1Click. (haven't used either in awhile)

Not free but much better to run behind 1Click would be AnyDVD. Does have a free 21 day trial. DVD43 would need to be uninstalled completely.

You can try that or here's 2 other free ways to do the movies(DVD43 should actually be uninstalled for these too due to conflicts)
    RipIt4Me
    DVDFab Decrypter

Another thing could be the media and or firmware not up to date on the burner. Using good stuff like Verbatim or made in japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell? Keep the burn speed to 1/2 of the rated speed of the media like 16x - burn at 8x.

Give those a go and let us know.

anyway i downloaded said up to date stuff, did a dual layer backup last night, it worked a treat
gona do a couple more later just to check it was not a fluke. thanks for your help

    Hi gas63
Maybe the brand of DVD's you are using. Which are they?
Burn at half the rated speed of media too if you're not already.
Good brands to use are in my post above.

How about the firmware of the burner? Up to date? If not then update to the latest. You can try the manufacturer's site or here:

Just need to put in the make and model.

Yeah those aren't bad - haven't used them in awhile though.

Have you tried playing these back in the pc or another player to see if any problems there?

I havent tried playing in my PC but i have tried a few diffrent dvd players. Did'nt start to notice the problem till i started using 1 click. 75% of mine were done with shrink and nero.

You might want to try going backing to Shrink and using DVD43 or ripping 1st / DVDFab Decrypter (free) then open those in Shrink.
See if the problem lies w/ 1Click. If haven't tried burning at 4x may want to try that too.
