Some movies I have copied latly come out with no sound and some are just nothing on them even coping older DVDs.I have tried several typs of disc. Does 1click DVD need to be updated or what could be the problem?
For the no audio problem the only explanation I could think of is that you are burning it with the "DTS Surround Sound" option enabled. This will make DTS your audio source and if you dont have a DTS Decoder then you wont hear anything. And when you say this If you mean its copying DVD's you've made copies of before that could possibly be because after a previous burn the temporary folder with the video files in it was set as the source the next time 1Click was opened. The discs shouldnt be the problem really with the symptoms your describing. But if you manage to successfully burn a movie and it has problems I would suggest switching to higher quality media. In general stay away from no name brands and brands like Maxwell and Memorex. A good media you can find in most electronic stores is called Verbatim.
I'VE HAD THIS PROBLEM TOO. I MADE 2 OR MORE BACKUPS AND HAVE 1 OR 2 BE OK AND THE OTHERS WITH NO SOUND??? IF I COPY THE ONES THAT HAVE SOUND SOMETIMES THEY DON'T HAVE SOUND EATHER. I USED THE SAME BRAND OF DVD'S AND EVEN TRYED DIFFERENT BRAND DVDS IT'S THE SAME THING JOE
@joeharbor please dont type in all caps its hard on the eyes and also against the site rules. It doesnt matter if you switch the type of discs your using if the ones you switched to are still crap. And what exactly did you mean by this ???
All sounds like good advice,I will play with it some more.I have noticed some movies have low sound volume.
@bueller The problem could also stem from the dvd burning so fast the data isnt as good as it could be. Besides the above mentioned potential fixes for your problem. Try burning using a disc with a lower burn speed, optimally 8x or lower. And use a high quality media. One easily found in electronics stores is Verbatim. They may cost more but their dependable.
