1st time flashing SV 3 The Box Super, need help!

when i turn on my sv3 super, "the Box Super" comes up on screen and 1 green light is on the front panel of the box. I was advised to reflash it but to be perfectly honest, im not sure where to start!!
Im in S.E Ireland and dont know what firmware etc to use.
Any links that will guide me through would be much appreciated!

I have an RS232 cable, f to f and a Logilink USB 2.0 A male to RS232 male adaptor.
Will that be enough?

 

RS232 cables come in two flavours, straight through and cross over. You need a null modem cable with is an RS232 crossover.

Give it a whirl and see how you get on. All the info you need is on Celt's link. Any problems there is always someone here to help you out. Thats me off to bed so have a goodnight
