How reliable is the 2.80 downgrader. Any chance of a brick if done properly or is it no more risky than any of the other downgrades?
the downgrader is actaully really safe. the only reason ppl have been getting bricks is beacuse the downgrader is codeded to read all the files in exact places! also they needed to be the exact right size!! Well thankfully the downgrading guide is in my sig! its easy peasy bro ive used it soo many times man! just install using the easy instaler and voila!
Nice, I am doing the downgrade for somebody else so I need to be 100% sure... I don't want to have to give them my psp because I bricked theirs!
when the downgrader came out, liek 5 mins after release, i odne it all manually on my psp (i had SE-C, i downgrade to 2.80) and tried it. it worked. then liek 20 mins alter an easy downgradr was released... i used that again, and it worked and i wrote the guide while iw as dooing it! Ive doen it to all my mates psp's aswell! dont be worried man Good luck (you wont need it)
