hi all. i hope this is in the right section. i have a korean movie in avi format and it is 2 cds . i have 2 subtitle files - 1 file for avi 1 and another for avi 2. now i can get the subs to work as normal. but if i joined these 2 avi files together . am i right in thinking that the subtitle files will no longer be any good. would i need one full subtitle file for the joined up avi. thanks.
Just join those subtitles using Subtitle Workshop. 1. Join movie to 1 avi 2. Open that .avi and (cd2).srt (subtitle) and synchronize it, so it play right. 3. Save and close. Then join subtitles cd1 and cd2 (that u just made) 4. Save. EDIT: After that part 3. you can also use Notepad to join those .srt (or sub) files...
ok right so i join into 1 avi first then i use subtitle workshop to add the subs. its early sorry.. if i manage to do this will this make the subs hardcoded on the avi.. thankyou ( do i join the 2 sub files together )
No. After you have join avi and subtitles you have two files: movie and subtitles. Did not get that last one... "do i join the 2 sub files together" Yes, if you want it will work on that avi you just made (join)
thankyou i THINK i managed to do it but i dont know how. thanks for your help. if it doesnt work ill probably be back
