about a month ago the boxes were working fine, then about 3 weeks ago the power went off and when i turned it back on at the mains, both boxes wouldn't light up even after flicking that switch on the back of them no lights on them or nothing, i have no idea whats wrong with them and i don't really care, i have not got the time of day to mess around with them, Ive bought new ones now so i was going to put them in the bin until i saw people talking about them on here and thought that one of you lot might be able to fix them.

I don't want them so if you do let me know what they are worth to you and the first person to pay for them can have them and you could either fix them or use them for parts.

yes, i have sent a message to him now, i was reading through though and saw that lots of people had this problem and it could be fixed something to do with a jtag or something like that, i realy dont have any idea what i would do and cant realy imgine attempting it, i had to get the neighbour to set the boxes up for me anyway so im sure you can imagine how bad it is for me. anyway im not asking for much, i just want them to goto a good home.

As said they probably can be repaired and find their way into a good home, if not they can be used for parts. Are you sure you dont want to fix them :)

I realy should have looked around before buying new boxes to have them fixed, then i would have saved a few pounds but i thought they were un fixable so to say so now i have new ones, i don't really need the old ones, therefore, if you can fix them, you can have them cheap as chips!
