I appreciate your help. =) 2 final questions... First one, is a 2 part-er though. I notice that some Cingular phones, want the sim in, and others, it out. What does mine prefer? and what is the deciding factor on that? Second, is Metro PCS gonna allow use through this unlocked phone? Thank you, so much!
Try the code with no sim. If the screen remains blank with no message, try a noncingular sim. [bold]Note:If nothing happens.[/bold] Some Phones require that you to insert a non accepted sim.[bold] Before you do this, make sure the sim you use does NOT have a security PIN CODE. If it does, reset the security code to default 12345.[/bold] Insert a non accepted SIM and turn it on. You will see "phone restricted", press UNDO option and enter the code in the restriction box and press ENTER. I think Metro PCS is not GSM but CDMA. Different type. Unless they have introduced GSM lately it will not work. JG
