Guys I have 2 simple questions:
1 - How do I know if the audio on my movie is Dolby Digital/Stereo/DTS/whatever? On AVIInfo it only tells me the number of channels.
2 - How can I encode Divx to DVD with customizable subtitles and original file audio? 'Cos I use DIKO, non-customizable subtitles that come out a bit crappy and in order to encode with more than 2 audio channels you have to have Soft Encode, that only encodes in Dolby Digital 5.1.

    Thanks in advance.

    1. Scan the file with Videoinspector
    2. What do you mean by customizable subtitles?

    EDIT: get videoinpector here

    Hi nem3sis__,
You don't! If you have 2-channel MP3 audio, it could be mono, stereo, or matrixed surround (ie. Dolby surround). Only the person who made it knows for sure...
Or, it could be AC3 2.0 audio - but this is easier to I.D.
