people... i have spent so much time trying to figure this out. now, i'll explain what i am trying to achieve here. i have ripped 2 movies in 2 seperate folders on my HDD using DVDShrink (each movie has been shrinked to about 2200MB) keeping all the extras and everything. what i am trying to do is simply put these movies together in 1 disc, simply with one main menu which allows you to select which movie you want to watch. basically, the moment you play the dvd, it comes up with a 2 movie selection menu. say you select movie2, and it will come up with that movie2's menu structure, whatever that is! hope you guys get the picture. i know i'll get a few replies with regards to quality etc of the dvd's. i am not concerned with the quality right now. i just want to know how to do this. if there is more than a way to do this, please tell me all of them as the more learning experience the better. please guys. hope you can help... thanks heaps in advance
You will have to have a program that allows you to create your own menu. The only 2 programs that I'm familiar with and have used that does this is DVDLab and Nerovision Express 2. I do not know if either will allow you to keep 2 movies with fully functional menus while creating another menu to control both. I suppose in nve2 you might be able to create a menu with 2 buttons, one for each movie and then let each movie's menu take over from there. However I'm only guessing, because of obvious quality limitations and even tho I have used this program quite extensively, this is just something I've never done. Another factor is cost- DVDLab is 100.00. nve2 is included in Nero Ultra 6 - 49.00 to 59.00
