i currently have 2 movie files ripped with all menu features. these are golf instruction videos so the quality doesnt have to be perfect. i want to put both onto one disc. the result i want is an opening menu which gives to select either movie 1 o1 movie 2. when i select either i then want to then be directed to menu of the movie in question with all its features. could anyone be so kind as to instruct me how to do this? i have a variety of software including convertxtodvd.
    thanks

mate, the way I do it is this.

    have slyfox running.

open pinnacle studio and import dvd titles.

then edit the bits i don't want. add a menu and burn a disc.

    or another way could be

if you have xilisoft video converter you could convert both dvd's to avi or mpeg. then use convertxtodvd.

I haven't done the second way but it should work.

I'd be interested if anyone else has a better way.

another thread further down suggests that
DVD flick might do the job.

It sounds to me that what you want to do (keep the existing menus on two movies intact) navigate to either of the movies from a top menu, is beyond most of the authoring software that is used by the casual user.
I think that 'DVD Lab' or 'DVD Lab pro' can do this, but I don't know of any freeware that will.
