    Hi,

I have a computer with two Pioneer DVR-710 burners with the first being a master and the second being a slave. The computer recognizes the two drives but does not play anything whether it be dvds, cds, movies, ANYTHING. The two drives show up under my computer but sees them as CD Drives. When you insert a disc and double click on the icon, the window freezes and does nothing. I have also updated drivers through device manager and also through the website. Discovered that these drives are DVR-111d Drives. Any help would be appreciated. My mother board is an ASUS motherboard with a 300 gb hdd.

Try unplugging one of them, and see if the other one works by itself.

I tried every combination possible. Even with a single drive. They actually are Pioneer DVR-111d, the company just made it 710 (dont know why). I updated drivers and device manager says that the drives are working properly. Under my computer the two drives show up as CD Drives. When i click on either one (right or left click), the window freezes. What can i do now?
