hi, i have (2) ps2's in my house and i was wondering if you need the hdadvance disk to play a game off the HDD after the initial format. when you start the ps2, can u go to the hdd and start the games off of it or do you need the official HDadvance disk to initially boot up the system before you play each game?
You need to boot the cd every time to run a game. BUT, once the game is loaded, you can eject the hd advance disc and use it in your other ps2.
