    Hi All.

I am a bit new to the subtitles scene and I have 2 questions to ask:

1- I tried downloading an (SRT) subtitles of a movie. And placed it in the same folder as the movie itself. I tried running the movie using Windows Media Player, and I found that the Subtitles appear on the screen duplicated (As you can see in the attached image). But when I tried running it in GOM Player. The subtitles appeared perfectly.
Why? How can I fix the problem with Windows Media Player?

2- I want to burn Multiple movies each with its own subtitles (SRT) file to a single DVD. What is the EASIEST way to do it? is there a single program that does it all for me?

    I am using:
    Windows Vista Home Premium.
    ffdshow
    Windows Media Player (Latest)
    GOM Player (Latest)

    Thanks guys.

WMP and FFDShow are trying to show the subs at the same time.
If you want to keep FFDShow, turn the subs off in WMP.
Play > Captions and Subtitles > Off.
    and let FFDShow handle them.

If the movies are going on a DVD data disk, Nero does a good job.

Hi, i have the nearly same problem. I'm using WMP11 to play some video files then they appeared double subs too.

I see DirectVobSub and Haali Media Splitter at the taskbar while the files playing.

Please help me solve this problem, thank you very much.

Do exactly like attar suggested in the previous post. Turn one of the subtitles off. Right click the VobSub green arrow and turn those of, or turn them off in WMP, depends which ones you like the way they are displayed.
