I have downloaded some mp3 files and also used Nero 7 to convert music from some of my cd's to mp3. How do you increase the volume of these files. When I put them on my mp3 player and then play the player in my car(My radio has an auxillary adaptor box) compared to the volume of my Satellite radio and Walkman cd player its alot less volume. I repair consumer electronics for a living so I am fairly confident the mp3 player is ok. Previously to the auxillary adaptor box I was using a cassette adaptor to play my devices and same thing less volume from the mp3 player(It's an RCA Pearl TH1602) I have never used any other MP3 players. I know I can go into Nero wave editor and do a volume increase but I would like to know an easy way to do this in bulk (multiple songs at once)

This app will do a whole HDD drive if you like. I use it to normalize my mp3s (but I actually lower the volume). Give it a shot, but only up it as much as you absolutely need. It may introduce some clipping. See if the results suit you.

Have no Vista experience, but I can't see where that should make a difference when downloading, only when installing.
