Hi, I used CCleaner to clean my registry. I deleted everything it said was an issue. I then scanned again with CCleaner and got no issues as expected.
I then scanned with RegSeeker and it came up with 697 issues.
    1/2 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and 1/2 HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.

Why 2 different results? Should I fix RegSeekers issues?

Different registry cleaners have different scanning engines so you'll get different results from each. No registry cleaner can find all you problems so that's why you use more than one to clean out the registry.

As for RegSeeker finding 697 issues, I reccommend you only delete around 20 of those issues at a time, reboot and see if all you programs and your system still works correctly until you have cleared all the issues out.

This is because some registry cleaners can cause more problems than they fix and could completely mess up your system. And make sure you backup your registry before you delete anything so you can revert back if something goes wrong.
