Ok, I downloaded warcraft 3 andI'm getting and error that says please insert game disk when I run a game, I've heard of this before but I don't know how to fix it. I heard if you Disable all 32-bit protected-mode disk drivers then it should work, but I don't know how to do that. BTW: If you need to know i have xp pro.

Ok, I fixed the chopiness, I just had to install an update for my graphics card. Now I just really need help with the first one.

Okay. This is going to be a pretty easy fix. First you need to establish what version of Warcraft 3 you have (which can normally be done by going into the Games directory under Program Files, right-clicking on the games main EXE file and selecting properties, then clicking the Version tab at the top of the new window).

Once you know what version you have, you need to go HERE and find the NO-CD patch appropriate for your version.

Most of these will come with Readme files, but here's what you really need to know: Go back to WarCraft 3 directory under program files and replace the game's main EXE file with the one you downloaded (making sure to copy and paste the original to a back-up folder first). Once that is done, you should have no problems at all!
