Hello i am currently using a Digivox (all working, just got it back from being updated)

It is currently set up from my cable feed which goes into a 2-way splitter, one output goes to the legimate box, and other output goes to my Digivox. I was curious to know if this was needed? could i ditch the legitimate box altogether and just have the Digivox plugged in? or do i need to have both boxes on using the splitter?

You don't have to have the subbed box plugged in for your Digivox to work but it's advisable, the subbed box talks back to your supplier and looks less suspicious when in use.
