hey i have an extra $20 to spend on a computer appliance... what do u think i need? a fan maybe? a cool light? any suggestions? i have an extra $25 to contribute to it.. if it is really necessary... any suggestions?
There are so many thigns I could suggest. I just bought a Logitech MX1000 Wireless Laser Mouee. Its sweet. Got for $90 Canadian.. Not sure what taht is in americanor where ever you are from. Take a look here: http://www.thinkgeek.com
I would put it towards what you actually need for your computer, not a light to make it look nice. If you need HD space, put it towards a new Hard Drive. If you don't have a lot of ram, put it towards a new ram stick. Spend your money any way you want, but if it were me I would put it towards something usefull, not just a useless accessory like an LED fan or cathode tubes.
And if you really cannot decide, then just wire it to me and I'll let you know what I spend it on.......LOL Just keep in line with the thread, have a look here, as it it is the top 100 gadgets............... http://www.mobilepcmag.com/features/2005_03/top100gadgets.html
Quite an amazing list actually, some stuff on there I wouldn't have even considered to be good.......... I would go for: 70. ATARI PONG C-100, 1976 It played only one game, and that game sucked, but how much time did we burn in front of our little black and white TVs, spinning paddles and watching that tiny block bounce around? Ah, memories. I used to have an Orange Binatone type console.......man they do suck, but were the business when I was a lad............LOL
yeah the earliest console/computer I played with was the commodore 64...the one that took audio tapes as data. Man those things were so bad. But like you said, back in the day those were the sh*t...
i remember my amstrad cpc464 or the dream machine as it was known in 1982 Bruce lee was possibly the best game ever - only took 2 hours to load!!!
Seifeth, I would plum for a pen drive or flash drive. I have found one of these things an absolute god send for transporting files and such round friends houses etc and you can get them all inorporated with MP3 players/radio aswell, so you can have a real blast with them..............
